Danny Shivers is a professional Vocalist/Guitarist.
He grew up on Long Island in New York, and he has been performing since the age of 10! He was professionally trained and majored in music at Adelphi University in New York.
“Rockoustik” is Danny’s solo act that he performs on Delmarva at restaurants, night clubs, and festivals. His performances include hits from the ‘60’s, ‘70’s, ‘80’s, ‘90’s, and today. Danny’s style differs from “typical” acoustic acts in that his repertoire is not limited to songs that were originally performed acoustically. He creates arrangements of songs that most acoustic performers would never attempt to play! (He does an awesome version of Aerosmith’s “Sweet Emotion”, a song definitely not intended to be performed acoustically!) He performs with a voice harmonizer that he programs to add background vocals to the songs, making it sound like 3 people singing instead of just 1! Danny has a professional Mackie sound system, and his 12 string guitar and his headset microphone are both wireless, allowing him freedom to perform in the audience area.

A point of interest: Danny also performs as lead guitarist/vocalist in his band KING’s RANSOM. He also performs as a solo vocalist singing 17th and 18th century OPERA ARIAS. He is also the sound engineer for the DELMARVA CHILDREN’S THEATER.
